Family Fun Day

Jeremy has a couple extra vacation days so he took Monday off for some extra family fun time :)

Avery went down the slides all by herself for the first time!

Then some how I convience Jeremy to take her down one of the big slides...

He under estimated the steep slope of the slide...
Avery loved it! Jeremy's butt not so much. haha
Garrett stayed warm in his carseat and watched over Avery's "B"s.

Fall is here and it's time to get caught up!

The weekend before Halloween we decided to take a trip to Southern Belle Farm for some fall fun.

Aunt Diddy was in town for a dog show so she got to come with us!
Later that week, Avery and Garrett got a package in the mail from their Great-Uncle Clay!
Avery wanted to make sure Garrett got to enjoy his monkey even while sleeping :)
The leaves are starting to change and fall off the trees. Words can't describe how excited Avery gets when the wind blows and leaves fall all around her. Its moments like this that I'm happy we live where the seasons change.

Since the FL/GA game fell on Halloween this year, we couldn't think of a better way to represent than by dressing up to show our Gator spirit! Avery got to test out her trick or treating skills the day before Halloween in the town square. The kids were able to go from store to store and trick or treat. She was very shy but definitely enjoyed her candy!

On Halloween morning, we carved the pumpkin that we got at Southern Belle Farm.

Go Gators!

She was a little shy at first... infact when they opened the door at the first house she turn around and tried to run away! But Daddy was there to assure her it was ok and after a couple houses she was a pro! Unfortunately it was rainy, windy and cold so we had to cut the trick or treating short. But I'm sure she'll be a pro next year!

Gro Baby Bio Soakers

Some of you may remember back in July when I blogged about a great new cloth diaper detergent called Tiny Bubbles, that I got to try for free. The detergent is great and really washes completely out of our cloth diapers, which can be hard task with regular detergent.

Well the awesome company The Natural Baby Company has just introduced another great new product, that I'm going to be trying for free as well!

The new Gro Baby Bio Soaker System is quite possibly the most innovative, eco friendly, and leak proof system on the market today. They have these awesome biodegradable soaker pads that you can use instead of disposables when you're out and about if you don't want to bring your cloth inserts with you. These shells are already designed to be used multiple times between washes, so this disposable soaker makes the system even more versatile. All you have to do is stick the bio soaker pad into the Gro Baby shell, put it on and go! It easily removes once it is soiled, so you can just stick a new one in and keep going!

The soaker pads are: Biodegradable & Compostable , Breathable & Hypo-Allergenic, Fragrance & Dye Free, Plastic Free, and Chlorine Free which means they are very gentle on our babies delicate skin. And great on the environment too! These won't be filling up landfills like regular disposable diapers do.

And if you're totally new to the Gro Baby diapering system, you might want to consider trying the Gro Baby Bio Soaker Intro Package which comes with the 50 soaker pads in addition to the one size Gro Baby shell that you will need to use the pads.

This awesome shell fits babies from 8-35 pounds! So I can use the same diaper on both Avery and Garrett! All I have to do is adjust the snaps in the front which will change the rise of the diaper and I'm good to go! How awesome is it that you can have diapers that will fit both of your kids even though they are 19 months apart!!! You definitely can't do that with disposable diapers... just another reason I love cloth diapering!!!

I can't wait to get my Gro Baby Bio Soakers to try on Avery and Garrett! I think this will be a great way to slim down my diaper bag when we are out running errands or when we are making that lovely 6 hour drive down to Florida! :) I'll definitely post a review after I try them on both kids. I think this is going to be a great new staple item in our house!
